Lake McKenzie is a stunning freshwater lake located on Fraser Island, off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The lake is known for its crystal-clear blue water and soft, white sand beaches. Visitors can swim in the lake, relax on the beach, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

There is no entrance fee to visit Lake McKenzie, but visitors must have a permit to enter Fraser Island, which costs $52.30 AUD per vehicle per day. Permits can be purchased online at the Queensland National Parks website.

The lake is accessible by 4WD vehicle or by tour bus. Visitors can park at the nearby Central Station and take a short walk to the lake. The lake is open daily from 6am to 6pm.

In addition to Lake McKenzie, visitors to Fraser Island can also explore the island's many other natural wonders, including the Maheno Shipwreck, the Champagne Pools, and the Pinnacles. Guided tours are available, or visitors can explore the island on their own.
